Walking is an increasingly popular form of exercise for many health conscious people but too many walkers are not using walking specific footwear.

The ASICS walking range is designed to meet the specific needs of the walking gait: a central bevelled heel to suit the foot’s more central first point of ground contact (compared with running); a highly flexible forefoot for more efficient toe off; the weight of the shoe should be as light as possible and it is vital to have breathable uppers.
