Iganga Babies Home
For nine years, the GCC has been helping corporate workers from around the world reacquaint themselves with the benefits of exercise and activity. This year 130,000 participants took the important steps towards a future of good health and decreased risk of disease. However, there is also a small orphanage in one of the world’s most damaged countries that benefits from the GCC. The children of the Iganga Babies Home in Uganda is directly supported by the GCC and its participants. Thanks to your participation and the generous spirit of our participants’ employers, we are making the lives of these beautiful children a little better.
The orphanage doesn’t receive any money from the large multinational aid funds so every dollar raised by the GCC’s Footprint Initiative® is critical. There are no administration fees or bank costs effecting donations, the GCC pays for those, meaning that every cent goes directly to the home.
In 2011 $74,397 was raised.
If you would like to find out more and make a donation please visit the Footprint Initiative® page.
Thank you for your support.
